I am primarily a writer but have loads of experience in editing and the over-writing (or ghost writing) process. A seasoned researcher, I also revel in proofreading to help improve other writer’s work. I have written countless newspaper articles, magazine articles, and have written, designed and produced numerous books and booklets. I have prepared and circulated many press releases and done copywriting for brochures, adverts and packaging.
For longer than I remember, I have produced a mountain of web content, including numerous SEO-optimized articles and blog posts, both for our own web sites and for countless clients. I cut my teeth on ebooks in 2009, and have ghostwritten and designed a large number for clients in different parts of the world. I have also reworked several of my own titles into ebook-format for publication online.
Since 2023 my skills have widened to embrace the opportunities that AI offers. I have also extended my reach to encompass marketing content, which has different challenges to those I am used to. Both are super-exciting.

I am available for all types of writing-related projects including web content, reporting and copywriting, as well as editing, ghost writing, proofreading, and project-managing for publishers and other employers. In general terms, non-fiction books, technical articles, and web content are my forte.
My special interests include home, construction, DIY, and garden topics as well as legal issues, internal communications, AI, and software-related content.
I am based in the Western Cape, close to Cape Town, South Africa. I currently live in Pringle Bay, a seaside village that is located in a biosphere, so I am very close to nature.
